Fish. Some people love it, others hate it. But, wrap it in bacon....? Who can complain now? O.k, even my middle child who is generally our pickiest and says she doesn't like fish will eat this. Three cheers for bacon! :) For real, bacon wrapped haddock (or many types of fish) tastes great, and is real simple to pull off. Bacon Wrapped Haddock Ingredients:
* I usually also sprinkle either dried thyme or rosemary onto the fish before wrapping it in the bacon....but I forgot this time because I was distracted by taking pictures.... :) Method:
See? Easy peasy.
I'm feeling a smidge brain-dead at the moment and can think of nothing to say now. So, in summation, fish+bacon=thumbs up. The End.

I hope you like it! We just had it last night, but I made it with sole, and fried it up quick in a frying pan! It was tasty! :)

Great recipe idea! The fish looks very moist! I have not personally wrapped fish in Bacon like that before. Will be trying this soon - thanks for the inspiration!

Hi there - so sorry this didn't work out for you. I can't imagine why the bacon would still be raw after 20 minutes, that's very strange.

I made this tonight. I had a hard time making sure the bacon was sufficiently cooked without drying out the fish. While the bacon wasn’t raw like in the previous comment, it definitely wasn’t crispy either. Plus the fish was very very dry. I made sure the grill was at 400. Not sure where I went wrong.

Oh boy, darn, I'm sorry you also had trouble with this too :( I honestly can't imagine what's happening. We've only ever really crappy BBQ's too, so it's not like mine is fancy and makes everything work perfectly! It could always be cooked up nicely in a frying pan for a quick meal too.
